The Widowed Persons Association of California is a non-profit, non-denominational community service organization dedicated to helping
widowed people overcome grief and learn to live and laugh again.
All the people who work for our organization are widows
and widowers. Volunteers have made WPAC a strong, vibrant organization. We know what it means to lose a spouse and how
long and how hard the road seems to a new and independent life.
The Sacramento Office (916) 972-9722 is open from 10 AM to 3
PM Monday through Friday, except holidays. Volunteers are available to answer your questions.
NOTE: A
six-week Grief Recovery Workshop will begin on Saturday, October 8, 2011, 10-12 Noon at the WPAC Office. The
workshop concludes on November 12, 2011. Topics for the workshop include: understanding grief, stress/depression,
changing relationships, and moving on with your life. All widowed persons are welcome.
The office is located at
2628 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95825, just east of Fulton Avenue. Enter the parking lot at 2628 (a single story office
complex) and drive to the rear of the building. The Widowed Persons office is located at Suite D-18.
