Membership Information

Membership in our organization is open to all widowed persons. Prospective members are welcome to attend three WPAC chapter functions while deciding whether or not to join. Sunday Support and Grief Recovery Workshops are not part of the three functions limit and are open to any widow/widower.

Dues are payable each year on January 1st and include both local and state charges. Yearly dues are $60. Note: For 2009, new members joining after July1st will pay $30. For 2010, new members joining after July 1st, will pay $35.

All dues go entirely to support the operating expenses of the organization: printing, mailing, telephone cost, office supplies, etc. All officers and committee chairmen of the local chapters and the state Board of Directors serve without salary.

Each member receives a monthly newsletter with a calendar of activities and social events. Members also receive a copy of the Bylaws/Standing Rules and a roster of members.
